Project Updates

  1. Liberty Interchange
    – Work session held with Resource International and BCEO regarding design review of Cox Road extension and Hamilton Mason Road improvements. Next steps include coordination of roadway designs with BCEO Access Management requirements and with landowners adjacent to proposed Cox Road extension.
  2. SR 747 Widening, Phase III
    – Review of Stage 1 plans on July 9, 2004 at ODOT.
    – Negotiations complete with BCDES and KZF regarding relocation and improvements to water and sewer line improvements within the project limits. Request Board approval of intergovernmental agreement with Board of County Commissioners regarding the expansion of KZF scope of work and construction of water line improvements as part of the project. All associated costs will be reimbursed to BCTID along with administrative fee.
  3. SR 747 Widening, Phase IV
    – Closing of Oaks property took place on August 5, 2004. This completes the property acquisition in northwest quadrant of the intersection.
    –Request Board approval of intergovernmental agreement with Liberty Township authorizing BCTID to make application to the Ohio State Infrastructure Bank for a SIB loan covering the cost of property acquisition. Liberty Township approval of the agreement is anticipated at their meeting on Monday August 16th.
    – Zone change to B-2 for property in SE quadrant approved by Liberty Township Trustees on August 2nd.
  4. SR 4 Bypass Widening / Butler County Airport Access
    – Reviewing with Ohio TRAC staff criteria and project score at state level. M-E has provided updated traffic accident information for ODOT consideration and recent identification in Access Ohio of SR4 as a "Priority Corridor" will improve project scoring.
  5. Fairfield – Hamilton Corridor Study
    – No activity
  6. Hamilton North / New Miami River Crossing Study
    –
    No activity

7. North SR 4 Bypass Extension
– No activity
