West Chester Road

West Chester Township entered into an agreement for the TID to widen West Chester add a turn lane and curbs and gutters. The project is being completed in two phases. Phase B was starting in October 2000. This phase of the project was completed and open again to the public on June 15, 2001. The widening roadway is a great improvement and should serve the development in the area well.

Phase A, which taken over where Phase B stops at the Union Centre Intersection, continues to Beckett Road. The utilities are starting to be moved with construction to start of this phase by the end of April. Construction should be complete by the end of September 2001.

The completion of West Chester Road gives West Chester Township a significant roadway system changes over the past three years and gets another boost at the end of the year with the completion of Union Centre Boulevard Extension.
