INTERCHANGE CONSTRUCTION TO REROUTE I-75 TRAFFIC IN UNION TOWNSHIP ON WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY and SUNDAY

Construction of the Union Centre Boulevard Interchange with I-75 in Union Township, Butler County, will reroute southbound I-75 traffic over the exit and entrance ramps between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20. Northbound I-75 traffic will be rerouted over the exit and entrance ramps between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Thursday, August 21, and Sunday, August 24.

During these overnight hours, crews will be installing steel beams for the bridge of the interchange over I-75. I-75 traffic will be rerouted over the exit ramps and back onto the interstate between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday nights only. Traffic will be restored to normal each morning at 6 a.m. Originally estimated to take over four weeks, this part of the project will take only two weeks to complete.

This announcement is a change from yesterday's announcement. Due to the weather, crews will not work this evening. Traffic will be affected on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday.
